Brian Jones has been involved in strength and conditioning for over a decade. His formal education in the field includes a master's degree in exercise physiology and certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and USA Weightlifting. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in exercise physiology at the University of Kentucky . However, Brian's experience is not limited to the classroom. He has also been a strength coach for professional, collegiate, and high school athletes from numerous sports including football, basketball, baseball, soccer, swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, and martial arts. As a personal trainer he has helped a wide range of clients achieve their health, fitness, and performance goals.
Brian is a competitive martial artist with experience in Brazilian jiujitsu, judo, wrestling, boxing, and vale tudo. He has taught weight training, conditioning, BJJ, and self-defense courses at the college level and has often been an invited lecturer at NSCA conventions.
